sunday adventure

Last Sunday, I woke up early to come along with my mom and aunt to have my grandfather in front of this beautiful view. It may be a little hazy because my camera phone ain't that great anyway, but do believe me that this sure is a very pleasant view.

And because I'm still half asleep... I forgot to wear my other sock O.o. Anyway, it was one of the happy mornings. Though the plan of going around the bay in a ship got canceled because they only have a trip to Corregidor, it was still fun. I had baked spaghetti for breakfast and milk from starbucks.

And I believe that the best part was being with my Guakong!

ahh... christmas again!!

I can feel it coming... Christmas! It's probably my most awaited day every year aside from my birthday as I get lots of gifts and because I get off school during this time of year. But we never really have things like christmas trees during christmas that is why I envy whoever the family that lives in the house seen in the picture. They have prepared their Christmas decors early November and I can't help but feel kind of envious as we never had Christmas Trees. But I guess there's still some things to look forward to! Like the ang pao and chibugan

finally! a picture of my cake!

Sorry I wasn't able to include a picture of my cake with my last post. Well here it is

The cake was for a good friend of mine. Intended to express my sincere apology. I'm sorry if it's always been like this. I'm sorry that I can't help myself sometimes. I'm sorry if I disturbed you all the time and I'm sorry for not being able to tell you straight and personally instead of giving you a letter and a cake having the Sorry on all four sides.

I just hope things are going a little better for the both of us. You're one of the people I'll never forget.

smileys!!

Ever since I started having a blog, I've been having problems expressing emoticons when there's none at all around here! But this morning I accidentally clicked on an ad. And it happened to be smileycentral.com . I've tried it before ... well years ago... and it wasn't that cool before and the person you're sending smileys to wont get it unless she has it installed on his/her computer too. But i found it cute and all so I tried it out. And it works on browsers too! So I tried it on my previous post (Nov 11) first and it's pretty cool . Hehe see? Told you!

back in Manila... back to school

I got back in Manila last week (Nov. 4) and it took me one week to be able to update. Things have been very busy. Now that I got school again ( wish I could have more vacation) and now that I got more work for my band (yah know... making music ) and lots of project ongoing, I don't think I'd be able to update much at all. But then again here's my chance to tell you all about my week.

Nov 4
- I went straight to my friend's house without even dropping by at home to drop off my things and fix them first from the Airport. All I could think of was to have the cake I've spent hours doing and making delivered as soon as I got back in Manila. I'm not sure what happened that day. I'm not really that expressive and I don't really like talking much about very personal things... sorry guys :(

Nov 5
- There's the Wushu Exhibition held at Ninoy Aquino Stadium (still had doubts about going... but I was there...). The night ends with me eating brocolli... (I'm not really a vegetarian so... ugghhh) and being called a pipsqueek... grrr....

Nov 6
- Back to school? Aww... Nuu!!! I don't want to go back yet!!! Nuu!! Let me have just one more week! But I guess it's no use whining because I've been there :( But I did look forward on getting my test results. And right after school I went straight to Drug Store to buy something that could help me become a little taller and not be called a pipsqueek anymore!!! Also, I was able to have the first part of our new band single! Watch out for that :D

Nov 7
- Most of the projects and debts we had left was announced this day... (sigh) like the book report and newspaper articles on english. And another thing, I was forced to wear my aunt's rubber which is not really my style and it hurt my feet because I left my shoes at my other place.

Nov 8
-I've never missed drums this much! And I learned new cool stuffs at this day's lesson.

Nov 9
- No classes!! Yey! I helped out on my band's project on math which wasn't really my project because I'm not with them.

Nov 10
- We had scouting and I was supposed to wear Type M (white shirt and jeans) and I deliberately wore uniform instead because I couldn't bear wearing my aunt's shoes again

Nov 11
- I helped out a little again on my band's project and now I'm in front of my laptop writing this down :p

baking and driving

I woke up early to get to the bakery as early as I can be. When I got there, I was assisted by my buddy bakery-mates. They helped me set up the things I was going to need for the cake I've been planning for weeks just to have something back home for a friend I'm visiting as soon as I get back in Manila! The picture's not available yet as my mmc reader is sort of out in the world and I can't seem to find it. So after mixing things up and leaving it to the oven to be cook over around 30 minutes I left for a while to have breakfast (told yah it was too early). After eating what I could find in the fridge I planned on going to the bakery again. However I was distracted when I saw an opportunity to drive around! Well ok, at first I was just thinking of moving around a little. But my office-mate told me that it's okay to drive around the streets! No joke! Real cars and all! I tried going around once and felt like it wasn't enough practice yet. So I had another round before dropping myself off the bakery to check on my yummy cake and doing the icing :D The icing was a butter - powdered sugar mixed with royal true orange. According to my assistant it's one the hardest-to-make icing, because the icing is at risk of getting too watery which wouldnt hold up for icing. After finishing the cake I had another 2 or 3 rounds of going around the city again! I just hope my friend would like the cake I made.

missing my guitar

I was thinking of what to post today. There's all soul's day yesterday and how I miss my guitar. But I decided to have "missing my guitar" instead. All Soul's Day won't be that good of a hit anyway as I can't express such solemn emotion. I'm better off posting things that wouldn't be too dramatic.

I decided to left my guitar as to not risk having it broken by the end of the flight. So here I am... Guitarless *sob*
I'm really missing my guitar. I've already wasted days that should have been spent for composing more songs that might become a hit someday (kapal no? haha). Well who knows? Haha! The song I composed has already given me a good grade in my music exam (me and my partner played the song I composed and got 92). I was supposed to play drums but on our first try but we kind of sucked. We weren't really that ready so we only got 87 on our first try (he gave us 95 but we got deductions due to system errors with the electric guitar). But not to worry. I'll be seeing my baby in 2 days!
